From the President

On behalf of the F.A.B.A. Board of Directors, we would like to extend a warm welcome to our F.A.B.A. Membership. Without our F.A.B.A Membership, F.A.B.A. would not be as effective in providing the many needed items to keep our men and women in blue safe to provide a better community for us all to live and work in.

Things are changing at the station. As you know we have a new Captain, Captain Joe Curreri. His leadership qualities and vision have inspired F.A.B.A. into a new direction, like our 1st Annual Golf Tournament and outreach into the community with future F.A.B.A. activities.

F.A.B.A. is changing as well. Our board is working hard to update F.A.B.A.

• We are changing the name to Foothill Area Booster Association. The word Advisory was not fitting to the true meaning of the organization. The new name will also parallel the name of the station, Foothill Area Police Station.
• We are improving the inner workings of F.A.B.A. to insure all aspects of our financial and non-profit status are in good working order.
• We are working on the new F.A.B.A. web site, which will make it easier for members and the public to find out what’s going on in F.A.B.A.
• F.A.B.A. will be attending more community events to educate the public of the needs of F.A.B.A. . We would like to pair up a Board of Director with a Member to help at the booth. Let us know if you are interested.
